There are many sports drinks used to replenish electrolytes like Gatorade and Powerade. Although the electrolytes are replenished in the fluids OUTSIDE the cells, the electrolytes don’t necessarily get to where you really need them:

4/ Hydrogen Cation

Hydrogen cation, commonly known as a proton, does not have any electrons at all. It is found in our body to drive ATP activity, and is also the reason for our 2.5 pH acidic water i.e. the more H+ you have in the water, the lower the pH of the water.

‘Electrolysed Reduced Water (ERW)’ is the name used by chemists for alkaline water with antioxidant potential.

It’s also known as:
– akaline ionised water
– ionised water
– negatively charged water
– reduced water
– living water

The opposite of this is EOW (Electrolysed Oxidising Water) that has a positive charge and is also called Acidic Ionised water i.e 2.5 pH water produced by Enagic Leveluk machines.

Not all alkaline water has antioxidant potential. For example, tap water with a pH of over 7 is alkaline water, but tap water doesn’t have antioxidant potential. The same with chemically induced alkaline water sold in stores. Alkaline water produced by a water ionizer becomes Akalised and does have antioxidant potential, which is why ERW is valued for its health benefits.
